Jane Copland
Jane Copland has been working in SEO since 2006 when she joined the SEOmoz team in Seattle, Washington, directly after graduating from Washington State University. Coming to SEO with little more than a dying Gateway laptop, an appreciation for the Googlebomb and a degree in English, Jane worked at SEOmoz for nearly two and a half years. She joined the Ayima Search Marketing team in London, England in January 2009.
She has experience in a number of areas of organic SEO, including on-site technical issues, linking strategies, content production and promotional tactics. While at SEOmoz, Jane managed the company’s popular Q&A service and worked with a range of clients as a consultant.
At Ayima, she both works with clients and completes a range of in-house projects. Having compiled a large portfolio of writing during her time on the SEOmoz blog, she now writes regularly for the SEO-Chicks.com.
Jane is originally from Wellington, New Zealand but respectfully requests that no one make fun of her Kiwi, American and British mishmash of an accent.
