Gillian Muessig, President – SEOmoz.org
Born and raised in NYC I have lived in Seattle for more half of my life. I am a true ‘puddle duck’ now – I don’t tan, I rust; for me, salmon is a food group unto itself; and if “the mountain is out”, it’s a good day indeed. Along the way, I have had the pleasure of building a marketing company, working with e-commerce companies from the earliest days of the web, and helping to launch and build SEOmoz.
As president of SEOmoz, I managed the daily requirements of the business, as well as corporate growth and development. I provided the business management and long range planning to complement Rand’s vision. These days, you’ll often find me on the road, working on expansion and development issues and bringing SEOmoz’ to SEOs around the world. I’ve been fortunate to meet amazing search marketing colleagues in Canada, China, Singpapore, Japan, UK, US, and Sweden. In the autumn of 09, I’ll be giving presentations to the IMC Calgary and Vancouver, ECMOD360 conference in London and SMX Stockholm, stopping in at GITEX, picking up a Brand Leadership Award at the World Brand Congress in Mumbai, and presenting at PubCon Las Vegas. In 2010, you can find in Barcelona keynoting Search Congress. Other exciting venues to come!
